Hello Gator Fam!

Here is this week’s information. We are aware that the weather is looking a little dicey this week. We will make any decisions about practice cancellations and communicate them via email by 7AM. As always, if there is thunder at any point, swimmers will be pulled from the water for the regular 30 minutes but we are fine to practice in light rain. I still need help with Lap/Dive-a-Thon and Tie-Dye Party, especially with set up and clean up!

• Manorlu MegaDistance is July 12, 7am-noonish. If you want to sign up, please email me ASAP with your choice of events. Each event is $5, and anyone can participate! Ribbons, awards and trophies will be given out. See the attached flyer for more information.

• Lap/Dive-a-Thon! Our biggest fundraiser of the year which allows us to keep team fees low by asking for sponsorships is happening this week. PM swimmers will participate on Wednesday and AM swimmers and divers will participate on Friday. Details below the schedule. • We still need items for our snack stand for our last two home meets. Please consider getting your donation in this week and if you’ve already donated, please consider bringing in one more item.

• Wednesday: AM Practice, Mini-Gator Practice, PM Practice (Lap-a-Thon for PM Swimmers)
• Thursday: AM Practice only
• Friday: AM Practice Lap/Dive-a-Thon and TieDye Party!
• Saturday: Meet at Hideaway! Divers report 7am/Swimmers report 8am Get your RSVP’s in ASAP. The theme is Pink Out!!
• Sunday: Manorlu MegaDistance and Abbey Weitzeil Gold Medal Clinic

Lap/Dive-a-Thon and Tie-Dye Party Details

• Make sure you have something to dye. T-shirts are favorites but we’ve seen everything from socks to towels! We will provide the dye, rubber bands and gloves. You bring the dyeables and a plastic bag for each item
• Red Group swimmers and 8AM divers will tie-dye immediately after their practices.
• White Group swimmers can tie-dye either before or after their practice, whichever works for you.
• Blue Group swimmers and 9:30 divers should come early to tie-dye, think 8:45 or 9:00
• Don’t forget to secure your sponsors, per lap/dive sponsors are harder to track but we will count and track if needed! We love a good flat-donation!!
