    Gators Weekly: First meet details (and much more)

    June 22nd

    Evening Gators,

    As of this morning, the competitive season is underway and the next five weeks will be a blur! Our first two meets are this coming Tuesday night at home against Fort Washington and Saturday morning at Manorlu. Details about those meets are below with some other important reminders:

    1. Swimmers must remain in the team area when they are not swimming!!!
    2. Meet report times:

      3. Divers: BEFORE 3:45 pm for Tuesday, 7am for Saturday

      Swimmers: 4:45pm for Tuesday, 7:45am for Saturday

    3. Volunteers: Many families have yet to sign up for any volunteer slots. The following are still available for the first 2 meets.

      4. Tuesday: 1 Place Judge, 1 Writer

      Saturday: 1 Dive Judge, TWO dive scoring table, 1 “Team Area”

    Reminder about Donations for Concessions. If you have not done so already, please bring the following (based on your last name) before the meet on Tuesday:

    • A-D - 2 Cases of water
    • E-H - Sam's/Costco size boxes of candy (starburst, skittles, sour patch kids, candy bars, etc)
    • I-M - Case of Gatorade
    • N-R - Sam's/Costco size box of chip bags
    • S- Z - TWO 12 packs soda

    Donations can be dropped in the swim shed during practice hours both AM and PM. If those times don't work you can leave it right out front of the swim shed garage door and we'll make sure it gets put away. If you are bringing something like chocolate there is a freezer to put it in as the next few days are expected to be exceptionally hot.

    Other items:

    • Pictures from Time Trials and Swim Blast are available. Click HERE to check them out. This link will work throughout the season. New folders will be added for each meet. A huge thank you to Ashley Borowski!
    • Results from Time Trials AND Swim Blast have been loaded into SwimTopia. Click on your child's name then “Swim History.”
    • Makeup Pictures are Wednesday evening at 5pm at the pool. Use this LINK to order.
    • Raffle tickets for the Lottery basket and Blackstone Grill will be on sale at all home meets
    • If someone is free to pickup 12 pizzas at 5:45 in Willow Grove on Tuesday, please let me know!
