Weekly Update part "last": some responses needed
Hi again!
Last round of info for this week. Some items need fairly quick responses. Thanks for your patience with all the emails, hopefully this will be the last one for a while!
SWIM BLAST:
Fort Washington is hosting “Swim Blast” this Saturday which is an optional fun meet where swimmers can pick their own events. If anyone is interested in having their swimmers attend, please fill out this GOOGLE FORM ASAP (by tomorrow at 6 PM). There is no fee to enter but parents may need to help time. Our apologies for the extremely late notice.
Home meet CONCESSION DONATIONS
Concessions at Home Swim meets run largely on donations from the team. We also provide water for meet volunteers. Please see the list below to see what your family should donate. Please bring items to the shed during practice by Wednesday of next week.
- Last Names A - F: Case (24) of Gatorade or Powerade
- Last Names G - K: 12 pack of soda (brand name) AND large box of individual chip/snack packages
- Last Names L - Z: Case of water (24+) AND box of individually wrapped candy
Additional donations welcome!
Pasta Party!!
We will have a Pasta Party next Monday night (6/27) at the pool at 6pm. Please use this SIGNUP GENIUS to volunteer to bring items! (you can still come if you didn’t fill out the original Google Form)
Pictures:
The photographers are coming back tomorrow night at 5 to take pictures for PM practice kids and anyone who couldn’t make it this morning.
They also offered to come back next Thursday at 4:30 (right before our first home meet) to photograph anyone who was away this week. If you are interested in this opportunity, please fill out this GOOGLE FORM. If we do not get any responses, they will not come.
Other reminders:
- RED GROUP swimmers should bring socks/sneakers to practice tomorrow.
- Please make sure your Child RSVP’s and Volunteer signups are complete for AT LEAST the first two meets.
Thank you!
Lastly, I’d like to thank everyone for coming together as a team to run all the fun events we’ve been organizing. The kids had a great time with their new “Gator families” following breakfast this morning. Also, thanks for all the positive feedback you’ve offered. It looks like we’re off to a great start!
