Gators March “News”

1. March Madness Fundraiser:

Please help the Gators by participating in our NCAA March Madness Bracket Pool:

• Brackets are $20 each.
• The top 3 finishers earn 25%, 15% and 10% of the pot, respectively.
• You can also win $100,000 from ESPN by participating in our pool!
• To participate:

1. Send $20 for each bracket you want to fill out via Venmo to Upper Moreland Swim Club (this is a BUSINESS account). Include YOUR NAME in the “What’s it For?” section.
2. IMMEDIATELY fill out this GOOGLE FORM.

• Once the NCAA sets the brackets (TONIGHT!) you will be emailed a link to pick your teams

Please share this info with friends and family.

2. Marketing

• Please “sell” the Gators to friends and family. Word of mouth is our best advertising!
• We are still in need of some pictures and video from last season for use in a promo video & brochure. Please respond to this email for instructions on how to upload files.

3. Volunteers

Preparations for swim meets, in-season fundraisers and fun events will begin soon. Please watch for volunteer emails as these events require parent involvement to be successful.

4. Registration Info

Registration for the Gators will begin on April 8th. Instructions and a link to the Registration form (via SwimTopia) will be provided on April 8th.

Membership Fees (per family):

• $140 for the first child (this equates to approximately $2 per hour of participation)
• $120 for the second child
• $100 for the third child
• No charge for additional children

Note: The pricing above represents a significant increase in fees compared to last year. If our membership is similar to 2021, the price structure above will cover ONLY our coaching budget. Additional costs such as team gifts, league fees, equipment, officials, event costs… which total approximately $5,000 will be covered by fundraising earnings.
