UMSC Gators Postseason Wrap-up/2022 Planning

Hello Gator families,

My name is Chuck Jacobs and I will be taking over the reins of the Gator Swim & Dive Team parent organization from Jim O’Malley alongside Board Director Megan Hartman, Director of the Swimming and Diving Program. For those of you who don't know me, I am a science teacher at Abington Sr. High School where I have worked since 2000. I swam growing up in Delaware County and was an assistant coach of the Abington HS team for 4 years. My wife, Melissa, teaches Family & Consumer Sciences at Council Rock South High School. We have 2 children, Emmalee (9) & Spencer (7) both of whom were Gators this summer. We live in Upper Moreland and Emmalee & Spencer attend Upper Moreland Elementary.

As we all know, the last 18 months have been incredibly challenging for everyone. Because of the disruptions caused by COVID and my inexperience in this new role there will be a lot of planning and preparation (and fundraising) to be done for next summer. In the past few years a dedicated group of parents have worked extremely hard to keep the Gators in the pool. In the future, we hope to expand that group by adding many new faces. With that in mind, we are asking each family to fill out the Google Form Questionnaire linked below. The form will give you an opportunity to volunteer your skills, allow you to provide feedback from this summer and help us plan for next season.
