I wanted to give an update on B Swim Champs. We are watching tomorrow’s weather very closely and it does not look good, with high likelihood of heavy rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours. Our concern as a club is being able to provide shelter for 300 athletes and their families in the event of ongoing rain and thunderstorms. We plan to monitor the forecast, but if it continues to be as ominous, we would like to postpone B Champs until Thursday evening, same time schedule, as Thursday’s weather looks better in the evening. We understand that postponing the meet will present a challenge to some families and staff, but being able to keep people safe, and allowing our league swimmers to have their Championship meet is our priority. Our hope is to make a decision by 10:00 am tomorrow. We wanted to share our thought process so you can give notice to your families if you choose.
