Tie Dye Party - MONDAY JULY 9th
Tie Dye Party!
On Monday, July 9th starting around 9 am until 11 am kids will be able to tie dye their own tee shirts before/during/after practice. This year's color is aquamarine!
The team will supply the dye for the shirts and there will be some fabric markers and rubber bands available to use. We do suggest bringing your own sharpies or other fabric markers as well as some extra rubber bands just in case. Swimmers are welcome to decorate their tees before hand if they want with permanent or fabric markers. For those new to the team, AC MOORE and Michael's has cheap, plain 100% cotton white t-shirts available.
To tie dye, each swimmer will need a white tee shirt and a plastic bag (grocery bag.) Please have your swimmer's name written on the tee shirt tag and on the bag in sharpie.
The kids will be bringing home their tees in the plastic bag wet and freshly dyed.
Below are some cleaning instructions:
1. Let your shirt sit over night for best results
2. Rinse your shirt until the shirt runs clear (cool water)
3. Let your shirt dry
4. Wash and dry once separately. That way it does not run onto other garments.
